Members of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Approved a Number of Ratification Laws

Today, members of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic considered and approved in the third reading a number of draft laws on the ratification of bilateral and unilateral agreements within the CIS.

In particular, the MPs adopted Draft Law on the Ratification of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Topogeodetic and Navigation Support of the Armed Forces of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, signed on 30 May 2014 in the city of Minsk. The exchange of information between the parties and its protection in cooperation under this Agreement shall be provided by the parties in accordance with national legislation.

In addition, the MPs approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Cooperation in the Field of Migration, signed on 27 November 2019 in the city of Bishkek. It is expected that the ratification of the Agreement will help to raise the effectiveness of the protection of the rights of migrants of the two countries.

According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, the MPs also adopted the Draft Law on the Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Cooperation of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the Fight against Theft of Vehicles and Ensuring Their Return of 25 November 2005 signed on 20 July 2018 in the city of Baku.
