Moldovan MPs Adopted Law on Prevention of Abuse Against Business

On 22 April 2021, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova approved the draft amendments to

several legislative acts, in particular, to the Law on State Control of Entrepreneurship and the

Code of Offenses.

The draft Law on Prevention offers a mechanism to prevent possible abuse by supervisory

bodies. The document provides for a response to the need to improve the business environment

and protect small businesses from many obstacles for private entrepreneurship.

According to the press service of the parliament, the MPs approved the document in the second,

final reading.
