Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Voted for Draft Laws Aimed at Improving Populations Access to Medicines

On 3 December 2020, the MPs of the Republic of Moldova voted for two draft laws aimed at improving the population’s access to medicines.

The first draft amends the Law on Medicines and the Law on Pharmaceutical Activity. The document provides for the introduction of an electronic prescription and obliges authorized persons to regulate and control the drug prices.

The second draft amends the Law on Pharmaceutical Activity, the Law on Assessment and Accreditation in the Health Care System and the Law on Domestic Trade.

According to the press-service of the Moldovan parliament, the MPs voted on the drafts in the second reading.
