Russian MPs Summed Up Results of Work in 2021

Today, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko summed up the results of the autumn session and the work of the upper house of parliament in 2021.

The Speaker said that during the year, over 500 laws had been considered aimed at implementing the Address of the President of the Russian Federation, achieving national goals, increasing the well-being of citizens and the effective development of regions. Valentina Matvienko noted the active joint work with the new convocation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and with the Government.
