Russian Senators Imposed a Fine for Equating USSR and Nazi Germany

On 13 April 2022, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation approved a Federal Law providing for amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences regarding the introduction of administrative responsibility for violating the prohibition of public equating of the role of the USSR and Nazi Germany during the World War II.
