Council of Legislators of Russian Federation to Be Held in Tavricheskiy Palace

On 27April 2022, a meeting of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will be held in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters. Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will preside over the event.

The event will bring together MPs from the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting participants will discuss the implementation of the Priority Action Plan to ensure the development of the Russian economy in the context of external sanctions pressure, as well as measures to ensure the financial stability of the regions.

Before the meeting of the Council of Legislators, a meeting of its presidium will be held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Andrei Yatskin and Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya. The agenda of the meeting includes the modernization of the infrastructure for the rehabilitation and recreation of children, including preparations for the 2022summer health campaign.

Also on 26-27April, a meetings of the commissions of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation will be held.

The events will bring together MPs, members of the Government of the Russian Federation, heads of the Accounts Chamber and the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).
