Russian and Uzbekistani Senators Discussed Implementation of Documents Adopted by IPA CIS

On 9 June 2021, the delegation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Yuri Arkharov, held a meeting with members of the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on Science, Education and Health.

During the conversation, the members of the delegation were briefed about the work carried out in Uzbekistan to improve legislation in the social sphere.

In addition, the parties discussed the implementation of the documents adopted by the IPA CIS.

At the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on cooperation in the development of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, in particular, in improving legislation in the field of healthcare.
