Maulen Ahimbayev and Nurdinjon Ismoilov Noted Importance of Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue on International Arena

Today, within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev met with Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov.
The parties discussed the potential of parliamentarians’ input to strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation, interaction in the field of tourism and digital technologies. In addition, the parties raised environmental issues, in particular, the use of cross-border water resources. It was noted that the finalization of coordination and signing of the intergovernmental Agreement on Joint Management, Use and Protection of Cross-Border Water Objects will be of great importance for the development of cooperation in this area.
