Rustami Emomali: Parliamentary Relations Are Important Element of Russia-Tajikistan Relations

During an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin met with Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali on 3 March 2023, in Dushanbe.

The parties exchanged views on relations between the two countries.

Rustami Emomali emphasized that interparliamentary cooperation was seen as an important link in interstate relations and was gaining new momentum. He noted the importance of joint work of parliamentarians on the platform of the IPA CIS.

Mikhail Mishustin thanked his colleagues from Tajikistan for the high level of organization of the meeting and noted their special attention to inter-parliamentary and inter-regional cooperation between the two countries.
