Speaker of Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Pays Official Visit to Kazakhstan

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev is on an official visit to Kazakhstan, during which he met with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev.
During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan stressed that Kazakhstan -Kyrgyzstan relations are developing dynamically, facilitated by interaction at the intergovernmental and inter-parliamentary levels. He said that the bilateral trade and economic cooperation is increasing every year, the countries plan to increase trade turnover to $ 2 billion.
Nurlanbek Shakiev said that comprehensive cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan is constantly deepening.
Maulen Ashimbayev noted the close cooperation and friendly interaction on the parliamentary line at a meeting with the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic .
The parties also discussed issues of strengthening interregional cooperation, increasing trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the countries.
