Talant Mamytov: “Children of Commonwealth” Forum Paves Way for Future Cooperation”

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov took part in the VII International Cultural and Educational Forum Children of the Commonwealth”, which is taking place in Cholpon-Ata in Kyrgyzstan. The Speaker talked to schoolchildren from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Uzbekistan and congratulated them on their successful work at the Forum.

Member of the Jogorku Kenesh Iskender Matraimov, Member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Denis Karas, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev also took part in the meeting.

Addressing the young representatives of the CIS countries, Talant Mamytov said that the “Children of the Commonwealth” Forum not only provides a platform for dialogue, but also paves the way for future cooperation. “The hospitable Kyrgyz people, the picturesque nature of Kyrgyzstan and our pearl Lake Issyk-Kul are always happy to welcome new guests. We will look forward to your return”, he said, noting that such meetings contribute to the establishment of good-neighborly relations.

The Speaker of the Parliament underlined that the main goal of the Forum was to create an international platform for educating children and youth in the spirit of friendship and cooperation.

 “One of our priorities is to call for the joint work of future generations of the states united by close historical ties. It is the duty of every citizen of the Commonwealth to continue the great path of friendship and unity”, Talant Mamytov noted. According to him, it was necessary to increase cooperation in all fields, cooperate and exchange views. “This way we will be able to ensure the prosperity of our countries! I believe that we will achieve our goals”, the Speaker said.

Each delegation had an opportunity to pose a question to the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament. The children were interested in what the government does to preserve the pure and unique nature of Issyk-Kul, how the Forum can influence the future of its participants, what advice can the younger generation receive. The children of the Commonwealth also asked Talant Mamytov to share a recipe for love for the Motherland and tell about the momentous events from his school life.

Talant Mamytov wished the Forum participants health, happiness and a bright future. “And our duty is to ensure you have a happy childhood. All our efforts are aimed at ensuring your future. I wish you success in your studies, so that you please your relatives and friends with your achievements and grow up worthy citizens, and we, in turn, will be proud of you!” the Speaker concluded.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Nurbek Satvaldiev awarded the CIS representatives participating in the Forum with certificates.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy conveyed greetings to the schoolchildren of the Commonwealth from Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko. The Secretary General noted that the Kyrgyz experience would be implemented in other CIS countries. He reminded that the previous Forum took place in Saint Petersburg, and next year the event is scheduled to be held in the Republic of Uzbekistan. “Communicate, keep in touch with each other and always stay so active”, the Secretary General encouraged the Forum participants.

Member of the Belarusian parliament Denis Karas wished the children to “invest” the good relations established at the Forum in the future of their countries and the Commonwealth as a whole , “So that our countries flourish, live in safety and comfort”.

Nurbek Satvaldiev noted that the Forum was held at a high level and thanked the children of the Commonwealth for their active participation in the event. He wished the schoolchildren to maintain friendship and achieve success in all endeavors.
