Upper Chambers of Russia and Turkmeninstan Parliaments Signed Cooperation Agreement

The delegation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation headed by Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko continues its work in Ashgabat.

Today, within the framework of the delegation visit, Valentina Matviyenko and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow signed a cooperation agreement between the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.

During the event, the Speaker of the Federation Council was awarded the Order of Turkmenistan “For Contribution to the Cooperation Development”. In turn, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow was awarded the anniversary medal “30 years of the IPA CIS”.
