Valentina Matvienko: Eurasian Womens Forum Will be Held in Person This Year

During an interview with the journalists, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko announced that the Third Eurasian Women's Forum would take place in October 2021 in person.
According to the Speaker, personal communication of the participants is important for such events. At the same time, she admitted that communication with some countries would be established via videoconferencing. Valentina Matvienko added that the event attracted great interest in the world.
According to the press service of the Federation Council, the Speaker also noted that in preparation for the Forum, special attention would be paid to ensuring sanitary and epidemiological measures.
