Eurasian Womens Forum to be Dedicated to Global Mission of Women in New Reality

On 11 February 2021, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Head of the Working Group of the Eurasian Women’s Forum Galina Karelova chaired a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Women’s Forum. She said that the Forum would be held in person on 13-15 October 2021 and would be dedicated to the global mission of women in the new reality.
The Council members made proposals and provided information on the preparation of international expert platforms with the participation of international organizations and associations UNIDO, BRICS and the Women's Twenty. In addition, the meeting participants were acquainted with the concept of the ecological platform of the Eurasian Women's Forum.
According to the press service of the Federation Council, the meeting was attended by Chair of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science, Education and Culture Lilia Gumerova, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Gulnaz Kadyrova, representatives of international organizations, federal and regional government bodies, the expert community.
