Armenia celebrates Christmas and Epiphany

All Christian churches celebrated Christmas and Epiphany on 6 January until the 5th century, and the Armenian Church kept to the same tradition.

The Twelfth Night liturgy is conducted on the eve of the Nativity when the believers light candles in churches, carry them home and prepare for Christmas.

According to the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, Christmas is a festive day off in the country.
