Catholics celebrate Christmas

The Republic of Belarus celebrates western Christmas. On Christmas Eve, The vigil began in all catholic churches of Belarus. Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz, Metropolitan of Minsk and Mogilev, conducts the main holiday mass in Rakov village near Minsk this year.

Catholicism is the second largest religion in the Republic of Belarus practiced by approximately 15% of the population.
