Commonwealth marks Victory Day

Today countries of the Commonwealth mark the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great patriotic War known as the Victory Day which was established as the national holiday on 8 May 1945. Veterans of the GPW live across the Commonwealth, therefore Victory Day is a holiday in every country of the CIS. The Day is marked by massive festive events, military parades, fireworks etc.
