Day of Russian Parliamentarism

The Tavricheskiy Palace has been dubbed “the cradle of Russian Parliamentarism”.

Today, it became the venue of the session of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation. Leaders of the State Douma and the Federation Council, legislators from Russian regions, RRs of authorities and NGOs attended the session.

The session focused on government action to overcome economic downturn, drafting Report on the Progress of Law-Making in Russia in 2015 and preparing the law On the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
