Tree-planting initiatives go on in Kyrgyzstan

Dozens of trees were planted in Ataturk Park in Bishkek to commemorate the defenders of Homeland during the Great Patriotic War. Members of Jogorku Kenesh, government officials, mayor of Bishkek attended the ceremony.

Earlier Bishkek saw more tree-planting activities on 27 March – the day of Living Memories Tour in the city and on 24 March when cadets of Asanov Military High School planted 70 saplings.

This time the guests planted spruces and birches along the alley to Ata-Beyit Memorial.
