Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Asylbek Zheenbekov

During the visit Asylbek Zheenbekov had an official meeting with the Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The main issues for the discussion were Kyrgyzstan’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, establishing the Interparliamentary Council, and strengthening bilateral relations.
The Speaker of the Senate welcomed the Agreement between the legislative bodies of the two countries on the Interparliamentary Council .
Assylbek Zheenbekov described the agreement as a significant step towards a new level in interparliamentary relations.
Both parties also noted that the cultural and humanitarian relations between the two countries were gaining momentum.
