Lower Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Republic of Uzbekistan Adopted Law on Strengthening Accountability for Unsustainable Land Use

At the plenary session on 16 April, members of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis adopted the draft Law on Additions and Amendments to the Code of the Administrative Liability of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at increasing efficiency of the use of land of dehkan farms and home gardens.

The adoption of the document should make an effective contribution to the use of private lands, increasing the responsibility of their owners, ensuring food security and employment.
