Moldova celebrates Limba Noastra, the National Language Day

In 1989 that was the day when the Cyrillic was replaced with the Latin alphabet. The new alphabet is also enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova.
This day the country holds numerous festivals, exhibitions and other events.
