Conference The Development of Parliamentary Democracy: lessons and prospects
Bishkek hosted international conference The Development of Parliamentary Democracy: lessons and prospects, which was organized by the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan.
The conference was attended by UN Secretary General Ban-ki Moon, President of Kyrgystan Almazbek Atambaev, ex-president Rosa Otunbaeva, deputies of the Supreme Council with its president Asylbek Zheenbekov, representatives of international organizations and academia.
The IPA CIS Secretariat was represented by Deputy Head of the Secretariat, Director of the International Institute of Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarism and Suffrage Protection for the Citizens of the IPA CIS Member Nations Andrey Baranov.
