Representatives of CIS youth organizations met in Moscow

The Forum of CIS Youth-Led Organizations began its work in Moscow. The event was organized by the MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, in partnership with the CIS Council for Youth Affairs and the National Youth Council of Russia.

Executive Secretary of the Young CIS Parliamentarians Assembly Margarita Safarova took part in the opening ceremony of the Forum.

The Forum's main objectives are development of educational, social, moral and spiritual potential of the young generation, strengthening national interaction, and support of CIS integration processes.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Chair of the CIS Council for Youth Affairs, Chair of the National Youth Council of Russia Grigory Petushkov, Head of the CIS Executive Committee Department for Cooperation in the Field of Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the CIS Council for Youth Affairs Tatyana Kovaleva, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Dmitry Ivanov and MGIMO's Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Educational Work Igor Loginov.
