Republic of Armenia celebrates Army Day

The Republic of Armenia celebrates the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the national army. Traditionally, on the Army Day country’s leaders and senior army officers congratulate all servicemen on their professional holiday, and the most outstanding of them are awarded with military ranks, state awards and souvenirs.
28 January is an official day-off in Armenia.
