Republic of Tajikistan announced a new journalism contest

The Environmental Commission of Majlisi namoyandagon of the Parliament of Tajikistan announced a new journalism contest that will cover issues of natural conservation.
The contest is open to individuals or groups of journalists, experts, representatives of the civil society of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Contest entries may include articles, documentaries about climate change, sustainable use of water and energy resources in the region, raising awareness on environmental challenges, waste management, and environmental situation in border regions.
The entries must be published in the press, on TV or radio.
On 28-29 May 2015 St. Petersburg hosted the VII Nevsky International Ecological Congress that was attended by experts from 32 countries. The Congress resulted in adopting the Resolution.
