Russian Federation celebrates the Constitution Day

It has been 24 years to the day since the adoption of the fundamental law of the country, which has laid a foundation of the development of the state and its civil society, harmonization of social relations, strengthening of peace and accord.
The Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted on 12 December 1993 following the referendum and came into force on the day of its official publication on 25 December 1993. It guarantees every citizen equal rights and freedoms, provides for the opportunities for their full implementation, remains a pledge of Russia’s further democratic development, its present and future welfare.
