Issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation discussed in Baku

A joint meeting of the Committee of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic on International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Contacts and the Russian Federation State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots took place in Baku. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues related to the role of the inter-parliamentary cooperation and bilateral relations of the two parliaments. The event brought together Chairman of the Russian Federation State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots, Head of the delegation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to the IPA CIS Leonid Kalashnikov, members of parliament – representatives of the State Duma committees, and Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Aidyn Jafarov.
