Saliya Murzabayeva spoke on improvement of the population dynamics

Saliya Murzabayeva, Member, State Douma Committee on Public Health, Member of the Executive Committee of the European Parliamentary Forum (EPF), spoke about the International Conference on Population and Development that was convened in 1994 and adopted the ICPD Program of Action.
The sixth conference on implementing the ICPD Program of Action took place in April 2014 in Sweden.
United Nations Population Fund, a UN development agency to promote equal rights of men, women and children to health and safety, and the EPF have been active in implementing decisions taken at each review conference of the ICPD Program of Action.
Parliamentarians across the globe mainstream the commitments made at the Conferences into their actions at national, regional and international levels.
