Senate of Parliament of Republic of Kazakhstan Ratifies Agreements with Kyrgyz Republic

Senators of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the Protocol of Amendments to Agreement Between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on the Rules of Residence of the Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan of 11 May 2012.
The document aims to create a legal framework for intergovernmental cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The MPs also ratified the Agreement Between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Labor Activity and Protection of Labor Migrants – Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to Senator Murat Baktiyaruly, the Agreement aims to implement measures regulating migration flows and prevent illegal labor activity in the territories of the parties.
