Tajikistan marks a major national holiday

Constitution Day in Tajikistan is six November and a public holiday. This year it falls on the election day. A busy day indeed as citizens vote in an atmosphere of celebrations.
The national Constitution has been adopted 19 years ago. It is the basic statutory law of the country that lays out fundamental rights and freedoms for its people and the foundations of national government.
