Russia celebrates

Today is a public holiday in the Russian Federation marking the liberation of Moscow from the Polish intruders by the national Resistance forces in 1612.

The holiday was established in 2005 to replace the Day of National Reconciliation of 7 November and yet earlier known as the Revolution Day.

After a protracted period of internal strife, foreign intervention and rivalries among a host of imposters, the Russian Resistance Movement finally established order across the country and allowed for the election of a new Czar – Mihail Fedorovich Romanov who originally declared the 4^th of November the Day of Sovereign Reclamation.
