Meeting of the IPA CIS Council
2019 Year of Book in the Commonwealth of Independent States

On 11 October 2017, in Sochi, the CIS Council of Heads of State decided to declare 2019 the Year of Book in the CIS.
On 28-29 November 2018, the action plan of the CIS Year of Book’19 was approved in Dushanbe through a decision of the CIS Advisory Board on Printed Media, Publishing and Readership.
The program of the Year of Book will include many events hosted in the Commonwealth countries.
