Commission of Regional Commonwealth in Field of Communications Discussed IPA CIS Model Laws in Field of Digital Development

On 24 May 2022, the 11^th meeting of the Commission of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications on the Development of Information Society and Digital Transformation took place.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education, Executive Secretary of the IPA CIS – RCC Expert Council Alexander Surygin represented the IPA CIS Council Secretariat at the meeting.

The meeting discussed promising areas in the field of digital development in the RCC Member Nations, progress in implementing the Strategy for Cooperation of the CIS Member Nations in Building and Development of the Information Society until 2025, the Concept of Cooperation of the CIS Member Nations in the Field of Digital Development and action plans for the implementation of these documents, as well as a number of other issues.

During the event, Alexander Surygin informed the meeting participants about the work of the IPA CIS on model laws in the field of digital development.
