Dmitriy Kobitskiy Congratulated St. Petersburg State University on its 300th Anniversary

St. Petersburg State University, one of the largest universities in the CIS, has celebrated its 300th anniversary. It was founded in 1724 by the decree of Peter the Great.
Congratulations on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the university were sent to Rector Nikolay Kropachev, teachers, students and all employees of St. Petersburg State University by Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy.
Dmitriy Kobitskiy wished the university and all who work and study there new successes and achievements, creative impulse and unwavering enthusiasm.
St. Petersburg State University is one of the largest universities in the CIS region. The IPA CIS and SPbU have long-standing partnership relations.
Representatives of the University are developers of a number of model laws and other documents, provide important specialist support in the legislative activities of the Assembly and the IPA CIS monitoring of the development of democracy and electoral processes in the CIS countries. The results of these efforts serve the development of integration processes in the Commonwealth.
In addition, SPbU contributes to the content of international events organized by the IPA CIS, and its students take an active part in the Assembly's youth projects.
