IPA CIS Council Secretariat and Kulob State University Named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki Signed Cooperation Agreement

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Rector of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki Dilshod Rahmon signed a Cooperation Agreement. Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Bakhtovar Safarzoda and Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – IPA CIS IIMDD Director Ivan Musket also attended the meeting.

The Agreement provides for various forms of cooperation between organizations, such as participation in the development of model laws, their expert assessment, holding joint research and practice conferences, symposiums and seminars, implementing common scientific projects, etc.

The Secretary General highly appreciated the work on education and outreach of youth carried out by the university, and wished the teaching staff and students new successes in academic activities and participation in the development of international cooperation in the CIS.

Dilshod Rahmon noted that the Kulob State University had a significant academic potential not only in law, but also in the field of education, culture and oriental studies. He also stressed that the university researchers could provide an expert assistance in the legislative work conducted by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
