Representative of IPA CIS Council Secretariat Took Part in Special Session of Conference of States Parties to United Nations Convention Against Corruption

On 7 May 2021, the Special Session of the Conference of the States Parties of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption took place. The event was dedicated to the preparation of the Special Session of the UN General Assembly Against Corruption to be held on 2-4 June 2021.

Within the framework of the Special Session of the Conference, the participants discussed and approved the draft political declaration, which is planned to be adopted at the Special Session of the UN General Assembly on Challenges and Measures to Prevent and Combat Corruption and Strengthen International Cooperation.

Head of the IPA CIS Model Law-making Support Department Sergey Belousov took part in the meeting via videoconferencing.
