Standards of Legal Education of CIS Countries Representatives on VIII International Nevsky Forum

VIII International Nevsky Forum was conducted in Saint-Petersburg on 20-21 June, 2024. The main discussion was about the unity of power system, business and society in the geopolitical contradictions’ era.

The event is organized by the North-West institute of management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.

There are 22 sections, as well as conferences, special sessions and open lectures in the business program. The plenary session “The Role of the Public authority system in the consolidation of business, society, science and education” was held on 21 June.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council -Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukhalil Gafurzoda participated in the conference “Legal education in the context of digital transformation of law”. He shared some insights about legal education in the CIS countries and about balance between classical approach and digital transformation in legal education, based on the experience of the CIS and BRICS.

Based on the discussion’s results, thematic proposals will be prepared for the  academic, professional communities and authorities.

 More than 1000 representatives from executive and legislative branches, business, academic sphere and education from the CIS countries and others, such as Argentina, Serbia, Slovakia, India and China.

International Nevsky Forum has been held annually since 2016 and become an authoritative discussion platform where relevant problems of the global development are discussed. The platform hosts over 1000 representatives of key ministers and departments, state’s and local authorities, academic and expert communities, public corporations, commercial and public organizations.
