UNCITRAL Experts Discuss Aspects of Concluding Contracts on Digital Trade

The sixty-fifth session of the IV UNCITRAL Working Group (on Digital Trade) is taking place at United Nations Headquarters from 10 to 14 April under the auspices of the UNCITRAL Secretariat of the International Trade Law Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs.
Among the items of the agenda are issues related to the digital economy: the use of artificial intelligence and automatization when contracting; identifying practical examples and legal issues of the use of AI; the provisions of UNCITRAL documents on automated contracting and the development of new provisions; work on automated contracting and standard rules for data contracts.
From the IPA CIS, the online meetings were attended by Head of the External Relations Department of the Expert and Analytical Department, Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation Maximillian Selyutin and Advisor to the Department for Model Lawmaking of the Expert and Analytical Department Roman Levin.
