Anti-corruption cooperation discussed in the Republic of Belarus

According to the Press Office of the CIS Executive Committee, Minsk has hosted the expert group session to finalize the draft CIS Concept of the Anti-Corruption Cooperation.The Concept adoption is driven by further development of concerted efforts to fight corruption in the CIS.
The purpose of the documents is to create a legal framework for anti-corruption cooperation. Strengthening anti-corruption efforts in the CIS is one of the key components of the global cooperation against crime.
Anti-corruption efforts imply comprehensive cooperation of the CIS member countries, national and local authorities that together with civil society organizations implement political and economic measures aimed at preventing and solving corruption crimes.
The provisions of the concept will lay a foundation for developing international agreements and anti-corruption programmes in the CIS.
