Astana will host the meeting of the Sports Committee at the Council of the CIS Defense Ministers

The event will be held on 14-15 February in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The participants of the Sports Committee at the Council of the CIS Defense Ministers will consider the documents that will be submitted for approval by the Council of the CIS Defense Ministers, concerning the championships in various kinds of sports planned for 2019, sports activities dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, amendments to the model guidelines on hosting competitions and events to implement the Concept of Development of Military-Applied Sports in the armed forces of the CIS Member Nations until 2020. In addition, they will discuss the documents concerning the agenda of the symposiums of CIS armed forces specialists in the field of physical education and sports that will be dedicated to the relevant issues of the development of physical education in the national armed forces.
