CIS Executive Committee to discuss the issues of youth cooperation

On 13–14 July 2017 the CIS Executive Committee will hold a meeting of the expert group to finalize and approve the draft Action plan for 2018–2020 on the implementation of the Strategy for youth international cooperation of the CIS member nations until 2020.

The CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs in June 2017 approved the draft action plan for 2018–2020, which is to be discussed by the experts in Minsk.

The Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrghyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the drafting of this document.

The draft Action plan, in particular, includes measures aimed at providing equal access to quality education, identification and support of gifted youth in all spheres of social, creative and scientific activity, professional training and development, as well as creation of a common information space in the field of international youth cooperation.
