CIS experts discussed amendments to the Regulation on the Office for Combating Organized Crime

According to the Press Office of the Executive Committee, the experts discussed the Regulation and suggested that it should be further analyzed by the CIS Executive Committee and put for consideration of the Council of Heads of Government.

The Office was established in 1993.

It is a permanent body that ensures effective cooperation of the CIS Interior Ministries and state bodies in their stand against organized crime, terrorism, drug trafficking and other crimes.

Other purposes of the Office include implementation of decisions of the Council of the CIS Heads of State, the Council of the CIS Heads of Government and the CIS MoI Council.
