CIS Scientists Forum has kicked off in Moscow

It is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo.

The purpose of the Forum is to provide all necessary tools for science and technology development and to get feedback from young scientists of Russia and the CIS. It is also intended to establish multilateral cooperation in science between the CIS member nations.

The Forum is focused on exchanging information between its stakeholders, establishing interdisciplinary scientific ties between the Russian academic community and their partners abroad, promoting achievements of young scientists in their research and development activities.

The first day of the Forum will start with the plenary session that will be attended by the leaders and distinguished representatives of the participating countries. Its round tables will be devoted to developing basic and applied sciences, infrastructure in science, promoting science in the CIS countries and cooperation among young scientists.
