Commonwealth experts continue work on the draft Agreement on Free Trade in Services

Regular meeting of the working group on developing the draft Agreement on Free Trade in Services took place in Moscow.

The meeting brought together representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrghyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova (as an observer), the Russian Federation, and the CIS Executive Committee. A number of experts from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the discussion       via videoconferencing.

The participants of the meeting decided to continue cooperation in drafting the Agreement. They asked the CIS Executive Committee to forward the minutes of the meeting, as well as the amended draft agreement to the governments of the parties to the Free Trade Agreement of 18 October 2011 – for consideration in accordance with the established procedure, taking into account their comments and suggestions.
