First Festival of the CIS National Sports and Games will take place in Ulyanovsk

The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on 12 August 2017. The event will last until 16 August.

The Festival is expected to bring together more than 1000 athletes and the overall number of spectators and participants of the five-day program will be over 70,000.

Ulyanovsk will provide eight sports facilities for hosting the competitions in 10 disciplines including sambo, tug-of-war, mas wrestling, gorodki, belt wrestling, lapta bat, ball hockey (mini-hockey), kettlebell lifting, checkers and archery.
