Leadership meeting of state and public CIS broadcasting companies took place in Moscow

The meeting of the leadership of state and public CIS broadcasting companies took place in the Russian capital.

Director for Foreign Relations of FGUP VGTRK Petr Fedorov was elected Chair of the CIS Council of Heads of State and Public Broadcasting Companies.

The meeting focused on the implementation of the Action Plan Dedicated to the 25^th Anniversary of the CIS and the matters of streamlining the Council's contract and legal framework.

The meeting also elaborated on discussing the opportunities to create and use jointly produced materials to raise awareness on tourist and cultural potential of the CIS countries.
