Meeting of the Advisory Board on Youth Affairs of the CIS Member Nations in Baku

On 22-23 November 2016, the CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs is holding its regular meeting in Baku..

Member of Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Sevinj Fataliyeva, who was the first coordinator of the YIPA CIS, participated in the meeting on behalf of the Interparliamentary Assembly.

The Council members will be briefed on the implementation of the section of the Action Plan for 2016-2017 related to the implementation of the CIS Strategy of International Youth Cooperation, dedicated to the improvement of intergovernmental legal and regulatory framework of international youth cooperation.

The Council members will also discuss operation of CIS basic organizations on youth outreach and promotion of youth entrepreneurship, as well as areas and forms of social services' work with vulnerable groups of young people.

The meeting will review the information on the development of the youth social movement in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the implementation of the International youth project 100 Ideas for the CIS in 2016-2017, and the organization of the Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member Nations in 2016.

The Council will summarize the results of the international symposium 25 years of the Commonwealth of Independent States: Outcomes and Prospects and the study on the Image of Past, Present and Future in the Minds of Young People.

Also, members of the CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs will participate in the international conference the Role of Non-Formal Education in Youth Development in Baku on 23 November.
