Meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy will take place in Moscow

On 15 March, the 81th meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy will take place in Moscow at the World Trade Center. The event will discuss a variety of issues on the CIS countries' interaction in the economic sphere.

The participants will discuss the development of the CIS Strategy on Information Security and amendments to the Agreement on the Procedure for Customs Clearance and Control of Goods Circulated between the States Parties to the Agreement on the Establishment of a Free Trade Zone of 8 October 1999. The agenda also included issues on ensuring consumer rights in the field of electronic commerce across the CIS, the interaction of the CIS customs authorities in the field of IP rights protection and a number of financial and organizational issues.

The CIS International Economic Forum plenary session on “CIS: Digital Economy – Platform for Integration” will be held in the margins of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy meeting. The forum will bring together members of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy, the leadership of the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of legislative and executive authorities, the real sector of the economy, chambers of commerce, industry associations, banking communities and media, as well as foreign partners. Currently, more than 700 people have registered to participate in the forum.
