Meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Tourism takes place in Dushanbe

The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the CIS Strategy on Tourism Development until 2020 drafted by the working group led by Andrei Molchan, Director of the Department for Tourism of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus.

The agenda of the meeting focused on improving management of child and youth tourism in the CIS and the overall institutional management structure in the tourist industry with a view to raise the efficiency of public marketing policy in the field of tourism, develop PPP practices, promote domestic and inbound tourism, improve competitiveness and attract investments to the industry.

The next meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Tourism will take place in 2019 in Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan).
